I've been wearing grey today and yesterday and both are NEW! Yesterday was with colourful stitches, today's with colourful heart-shapes. Saw Pearly's post about dream interpretation and that reminded me to get mine interpreted.

Sunday was well spent, and very contented! Total happiness.

First of all, I bought NEW scent.

No more brain-dead! I finally bought the Micro SD card to replace the lost one, I shall not elaborate on how I lost it. Got the card reader as well to download more games into Nintendo. And due to loss of some application, we had to make a trip down to AMK and it costs me an expensive dinner. After dinner was downloading games for myself (I'll make sure I have more games than him!), and I fell asleep while doing that. I've learnt my lesson.

And on MSN, here is some funny words from Patrick, "... how now brown cow" I was trying to figure out what he meant but he just typed those to rhyme with the word 'how'. I almost fell from the chair.

Saturday was spent at 2nd home (I mean office).

Sunday was quite fulfilling, did some grocery shopping for dinner.
I love Ikea, not forgetting Cold Storage @ Great World City for its Scan and Go machines. We bought the Swedish Meatballs Combo, some broccoli, potatoes etc. We always over-estimate and almost ended up preparing for 8 instead of 3. Okay I have to admit that I wasn't of much help but watched him and stirred the sauce abit.
Fell asleep after the heavy meal, which I really shouldn't have. It was a simple and contented day even though I didn't get anything for myself.

I'll be jogging with the neighbour later. Bedok Reservoir or not? My mum tried to dissuade me from jogging yesterday and today. I didn't join him yesterday but I swear I'm going to sweat it out later.

I've left my Centrum in the office and thought of eating orange for vit C.

new year eve was spent with the crowd. we had steamboat bbq, beer, martell & games. was supposed to meet the boys but i didn't as ultimately alcohol got the better of me.
the gentle night breeze and the one whom i've hugged consciously under my semi-conscious state somehow gave me comfort & peace. thank you.

I still have no idea why my font colour is grey. as grey as the skies, as grey as my mood. BKK trip was fine, i see quality but not quantity in the luggage but at least I've got a chance to travel.

Back from the doctor's YES, Im on MC today. Fever of 37.6 deg, cough plus flu. I must have caught it from the office when people are sick and still working hard.
I love the job but I hate the people - some in particular, that I'm working with. I'm nice, really. Just be nice and I'll be nice in return. Its just like do unto others what you don't want people to do to you. Its just that simple, isn't it? Same as for respect, if you give people due respect I don't see why some people are that difficult.
Its only the 2nd month. We'll see.

Took one teaspoon of loquat compound (commonly known as Pi Pa Gao) from Eu Yan Sang and Ive finished 2 packets of Strepsils. Drank lots of water hoping to ease the pain. This is real terrible.

Saturday

We were at Orchard to shop for stuff for his family. In the end we ate gelato(second time this week), bought kiwi berry (some organic fruits) and nonya kueh kueh for them *beaming with joy*

Had korea feast yesterday, over at his place for lunch and dinner. Yea I think I love korean food, yes kimchi! She said she will cook laksa next time. So I left the cosy place with a close-to-exploding stomach 'cos his mum is a very good cook! And shes really a nice lady, always showering me with gifts, food and more food! And we watched Casino Royale finally, and I hope Bb enjoyed it.

I am dying to watch:

3) Spider man 3 [opens on 1st May] Bb's favourite!

And now the bad part.
I really wanted to accompany him through the MU match last night, then to his game this morning. But a terrible migraine struck me and it was so bad that I started tearing at the pub where we were watching the match. I tried to fix my attention to the screen which is directly in front of me, but I wasnt even watching at all.
It is quite a disappointment that it seems like we cant watch a MU match properly - as in, from start till the end. The other time was at Holland V. I swear I really have nothing against his favourite team but such thing just have to happen. How unlucky right.

Ive just received the graduation package !
Boohoo the ceremony will be held on 21 May 07, which is a Monday at 9.30am so I doubt I'll be going. I guess most of my school/class mates will be there and it will be a good time to see them. Ahahaha I will miss the chance to see them all.

Yep yep no pictures 'cos I havent been taking any. Im chomping on rice crackers as I type this entry. Thanks to Bb, he bought me KG sultana biscuits, rice crackers and the popping candy. Lovelove. So I bought Casino Royale dvd for him in return =X And I owe him murtabak still, maybe wait till my first pay check?

Its the last Friday of the month ! 2 days to the month of April.
Ive noticed that my fourth finger is slightly peeling. Then I recalled that I scalded my fingers (only the thumb and the fourth) while handling the piping hot maggie mee. Yea I almost cooked my fingers.

Ive cleaned Blossom's cage. Ohh I got her a hamster swing the other day =) Im finally done with ironing the whole tub of clothes and Ive hung them neatly in the wardrobe. Yesterday I cleared out my shoes/heels and packed them all nicely. And mum has been nagging me to clear my bags. AHH I need to make a trip to TP tomorrow and return books. Im just plain lazy!

I personally think that Bus 5 is the best invention ever =D Ive found a much shorter route which saves me from waking up early. I was sitting on the floor earlier, with books of street directory and bus guides and looking up maps in chinese words for streets and buildings (okay its my fault that I lent someone the English version and it didnt came back). I will replace the book next month alright.

Im so dead beat. Plus 2 blisters *ouch*
B&J's ice-cream = heavenly. It made my day a little better and a little sweeter. Dinner was good too.

I am supposed to attend 3 interviews but I turn down the 9.30am. Hence I attended the 1.30pm and 5.00pm, both are the same position. I went from the East to the Central then back to the East before I took the journey to the South then to the Central. I went home in between the 2 to change the freaking shoes and to fill my empty stomach. I dont count the mentos as food so yah.
I am quite hopeful for 2 now.

Meeting the girls tomorrow, for the sisters' party =D Finally I can wear something casual !
I need some good rest now.

Lunch at Superdog, rented some shows, took the skytrain and tram to Sentosa ! Unpacked our stuff, changed and went tanning at the beach with Big Gulp before we head back for shower and watch show. Dinner was mircrowave food by the beautiful and quiet bench near beach.

It was a mini class gathering at the staircase - mickey mouse cards (I didnt get to see it), the little discussion over TNP's alarming headline 'Singapore girl, 9 gave birth' something like that etc. Im so gonna miss that, lets hope we will meet-up often =D

After that Joanne, Lien, Wani, Mariam and I waited a long time for bus 518 that took us to town. All of us were sooooo hungry and the TVmobile was showing us food, which made our empty stomachs growled loudly. We quickly settled for Secret Recipe. Ohh yah all the cakes look awfully delicious but Im too full for it, but well I'll have it soon !

3 days to first paper (MA2) which obviously is a killer, just look at the number of retained students. And I have never once excel in Accounting or Finance module and Im seriously quite bad at calculations and figures. The second paper (Legals) is okay apart from the tedious steps etc.

At the EDU place. Im still considering if I should go for the camp.

Had a uber good valentine's day with quality time spent away from city with -- heavenly ice-cream from Island Creamery, good western food from Bt Timah Food Centre, beary nice present from bb etc. And I enjoyed the nice long walk and all.

It was a lazy and warm day. The number 1 loyal fan (as quoted from Dawnie), missed his match =X

Met him and we had dim sum at Geylang for dinner, they really ought to give the place a face-lift or at least change the image of Geyland for the sake of the food paradise there. Some lanes are infested with many peh-pehs (read: tiko/hum sup/lusty old men), and they look at you in one kind if you are a female. TSK.

Those things aside, I enjoyed the food and bb's company.

Its a lazy Sunday and I slept like a total of about 12 hours? Yes seriously deprived of sleep, am still feeling abit tired.
Lazed and watched Alfie with bb yesterday. Yes yes JUDE LAW (please get some control, you know who you are. HAHA) I only slept like 2 hours ++ the day before. Then we went to Holland V, where I finally get to explore the place.

Woohoo, Legal Biz paper is over ! MA2 assignment down. We need to work extraaaaaaa hard for the project based modules then!
Ohh I must say.. today is a uber uber F-U-N day!

Took a fast and furious & sardine-packed ride to Simpang Bedok. YES not exaggerating at all. Theres Patrick, Sam, Bryne, James, Wani and me. Its too bad that Lien had tournament. Go figure out how we managed to squeeeeeeeeeeze, and nope no sitting on lap this time. I kinda missed that kind of journey, to be frank. HAHA im still sane. Its about relieving the old times and I really miss it. HAPPY is the word.

Camped in school lab with Wani to do IB, due to the electricity maintenance work from 9am-5.30pm. Then Mariam came. We did spent some time doing serious work.
The maintenance work caused me to shower in 'kampong-style' but its alot better than icy cold water right. Here is something about me, I must have the heater and light on when I shower. Yes the bathroom light even its daytime.

Reading the above brought back fond memories of how much fun and laughters that we used to have. I love our intern village. The 3 of us clicked well, we made fun of each other, hang out after work, we see each other like 24/7 but never will grow sick and tired of each other, united we stand, snacked like nobody's business, how I made everyone eat, our little secret talk and jokes etc etc.
And I love you all =)

I spent the last day of 2006 by having a hearty lunch at Cafe Cartel before we went donut shopping! The Q was long but its definitely worth the wait, and what more can I ask for when he q-ed with me =D

How nice is it to watch a movie marathon on new year's eve? Its quite cool to watch 2 movies in a row, yup we watched Death Note part 1+2. I like the idea of the marathon, maybe we should do it again? I bought sour tapes before the show and I finished it all on the very next day while doing SIP report.
And it will be back to school tomorrow, bye to holidays.

The Internet is finally up and running as fast as usual !
Was reading ST earlier and they wrote about the repair works + illustrations which looks interesting. Really thanks to them that we have the net back.

We (Wani and I) were talking about that uber cute rabbit (read my previous post), and I gave it a name - I call it Fifi. Dawn commented that its such-a-rabbit's name and its not even mine. Yup I saw the Fifi at Pets Safari and it was already sold to someone then. Theres a note which says 'Sold, customer picking up on Friday'. How saddening. Anyway we have made plans like getting one and putting it at Lien's so that it can hop around at her garden etc. HAHA
I so so want a rabbit !!

Christmas eve & Christmas was just a simple affair with the boyfriend.

Its BACK TO SCHOOL !!
Feels good to see everyone again, apart from Tracy who is in another class. Mr Boh is a funny fellow. MA2 is so-far-so-good and Im glad we have Mr Koh again.
This sem is gonna be a short one, uber short. I shall countdown 8 weeks after the 2 weeks break. Counting my peanuts too. GOTTA save but its hard to resist the SALEs especially its year-end, and yes christmas is coming.

I see preeeeeeety christmas trees wherever I go. I like the pink one at Cathay, the white swarovski tree outside Heerens, diamond tree (my favourite!) at Parco Bugis, those along Orchard too. =D

Sorry for the short hiatus from blogging =) For the past few days, life has been busy and rather very well spent.

A summary -
Got lost in Bukit Peirce during Jungle Trail. Went Mustafa Centre (like finally?). Took a wrong bus and landed up at Bukit Timah. Caught 'You, Me & Dupree', 'Rob-B-Hood' I enjoyed both shows and the company. Met up with the girls on Friday for a dinner at HK cafe, time were short but Im contended. Went for the last HPB's walk today.

Im so in love with Jay Chou's 'Retreat', from his lastest album (track 5). I highly recommend it.

Today was at Fort Canning Park and I was there at 7.25am. Tomorrow at ACM, got to be there at 7.15am. Gosh its earlier than today, which I almost couldnt wake up. Meet-up with Lien, Wani, Bryne & Patrick at ECP around noon was quite fun. I was tormented by ants and their bites from morning to noon - so pathetic.

1st day of SIP.

And if you dont know, I am with an event company and it is situated at Bendemeer Road (before Lavender street).Working hours 9am-6pm, date me for lunch or dinner ;) I just checked out the mini bus directory for buses that will bring me there everyday and I told my mum proudly that Im clever enough to self-secure a place where its convenient for me to travel.

A short summary about today...
Amazingly I got there before 9am. The new enviroment is nice the people are nice too. We calculated the mean age of everyone, inlcuding us, the 3 interns (the other 2 are from SP) and its 24. So far so good, I hope to pick up more skills as well as experiences there. =)

8th Sep 2006, 1st day at chalet

We are packing the door gifts.

Met Pearly & Rebecca to make the payment as well as to get the chalet key. They cabbed here, with many bags and we cabbed to Aranda though its just like 2 bus stops away. Reach there, unpacked, went for dinner at KFC, went back to the room to watch tv. Then I went home to pick up my stuff, I thought I would fall off Dan's bike but luckily I came back in one piece, bathed and slept. We had the big bed to ourselves and Pearly commented on how emo I looked when I slept, and how she tried to hide herself under the blanket like what I did. Haha Pearl look damn 'granny' that night.
